This self contained accommodation is located on the ground floor of a two level home. The compact open living space has a separate toilet shower area and a bedroom with a queen size bed. This would suit a couple or a solo traveller.
Easy 5 minutes walking distance to the beach, the local general store, who serves chicken and chips from 9am to 6pm every day and the tavern also has food.
A great central location from which to explore the wonders of the Mahia Peninsula.

The space
There is an option for a rather uncomfortable pull out sofa bed in the living room, I can put a single foam swab on top to make it reasonably comfortable, if needed.
Pets are welcome, but please bring their own sleeping mat and ensure you clean up after them. I respectfully ask that you keep your pet off the furniture, especially the bed. An extra charge of $10 for your pet.

Camper van friendly. $10.00 per extra person per night

Hi there, my name is Paul and I have lived in this area for some time. I am a local and would love to share with you some out of the normal experiences . Walking native untouched bush that may have covered most of the mahia peninsula years ago, a coastal walk to an old whaling station site (getting wet is a high possibility),crayfish potting. If you are interested in intrepid type experiences that are not otherwise available to the general public, I could be your man.
I'm very domesticated (very house-broken!) so you won't find your place looking like a tornado hit it. I clean up after myself (no dishes in the sink, crumbs on the counter, or hair clogging your drains). I usually ask/expect the same of people who use my place. :)
