This lovely self contained guest house is less than 15 minutes from the most beautiful beaches of the Silver Coast (Foz do Arelho, Sao Martinho, Salir do Porto) and 20 mins from the surf challenges of Nazare and Peniche / Baleal. Yet is a tranquil rural retreat set among the trees. Quiet, peaceful and secluded.

The space
The guest house consists of a large double bedroom, with the option for an additional child’s bed (and/or cot); a spacious shower room, and a large open plan living / dining room and kitchen.

It has it’s own sunny seating area and guests can have unlimited use of the owner’s pool. There is ample private parking.

As well as the nearby beaches of Salir de Porto, São Martinho and Foz do Arelho there are many historic sites to visit. The medieval castle and walled town of Obidos, the monasteries of Alcobaca and Batalha are all within 20 mins drive, while Fatima, Tomar and Santarem can be reached within an hour.

The house is located in a very quiet village, but has restaurants within walking distance. This is rural Portugal, with countryside walks or cycle rides through traditional villages, among vineyards, orchards and woodlands, with traditional cafes, bars and restaurants offering really good food & wine at very reasonable prices.
