Mountain Lodge - unplug your life.
This motto describes a way of life, to unplug the engine of everyday life. Here, in the middle of the nature of the Bavarian Forest, find space and time just for you.

A unique apartment in a 190 year old farmhouse that combines modernity, design and tradition.

The space
The mountain lodge is part of a farm in the natural Bavarian forest, surrounded by meadows and forests, at the end of a small village.
Enjoy the luxury of living in a home all by yourself and hear the birdsong and crackling of the stove.

The mountain lodge is located in a farmhouse from 1827. #back to the roots - a warm room and hot water in the shower means heating in the wood stove in the kitchen - # brandheiß - because the heating of the entire lodge is fired with the kitchen stove. For your stay there is of course free of charge and sufficient firewood from our own, sustainable forestry. For all "rookies" in furnace heating, there is a briefing by front officer Max and in all cases, the "professional furnace heating consultation" is available in 5 minutes.

Slow down?
- Wonderful oven warmth and unique crackling in the mountain lodge.
- Panoramic high seat - which is available exclusively during the stay. Whether at breakfast, in the afternoon or in the evening, a breathtaking view of the countryside is guaranteed.
- The Bavarian Onsen, a year-round, heated garden bathtub for 1-2 people. The tub is made of hygienic and recyclable stainless steel for the inner tub and durable pine for all wooden components. Heat the tub up to the feel-good temperature (duration approx. 60-90min) and enjoy the starry sky or snowfall outdoors :)

Sustainability/CO2 footprint?
- The farm's forestry is PEFC-certified, which means that trees are only felled in the context of natural forest care - resulting in very climate-friendly firewood for the lodge and the onsen.
- In daylight (whether sunshine or cloud cover), the farm is 100 percent supplied with electricity from its own photovoltaics. And even in the dark, the farm receives electricity from renewable energy sources.

Modern standard?
Bathroom, as well as all other rooms are newly renovated and offer all comforts. Of course, HD flat-screen TV and fiber-optic Wi-Fi are not to be missed.
In addition, the Mountainlodge is equipped with a Sonos Bluetooth speaker.

you can discover the icing on
the cake yourself;)

What exactly you do with your holiday here depends on you.
Do you like to be active: Up high? The Bavarian Forest with Germany's first national park is a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. Check off your summit list: Großer Falkenstein (1315m), Großer Rachel (1453m), Lusen (1373m) - with breathtaking views and unique, untouched nature. But would you rather go faster? Whether a leisurely bike tour or bike park, hot tires and mud splashes on your face? - depends entirely on you. In summer there are numerous swimming lakes nearby for sunbathing - #refresh & gettanned. Snow bunnies? Grab your boards and let's go - fresh snow, numerous pistes and trails to power up. Are you in relaxation mode: heat up by the wood stove, grab a good book and relax on the sofa under a cuddly blanket with stove crackling - #calm down.

Host Christian's insider tips:
