🇺🇦 Old Mains Cottage is a traditional character dwelling that has been extensively modernised. Originally it was the laundry of a mansion house that once stood in the adjacent woods.

The cottage stands in its own private grounds & is accessed via a private road. There is private parking outside the property.

Guests will enjoy the freedom of the entire house set within its own extensive private grounds. it is not a ‘designer shed’ or a glamping experience.

🇺🇦 Old Mains Cottage is situated approximately five miles from the town of Alford, being situated in the Aberdeenshire countryside between Royal Deeside and Donside. The cottage makes the ideal holiday home to relax in or to use as a base to explore the wonderful sites of Aberdeenshire, Moray and beyond into the Cairngorms. Both coastline and mountains are easily accessed and with an abundance of sites and attractions, including the world famous whisky and castle trails, both couples and families will have plenty to do in this most magnificent part of Scotland.
