Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love them because of the heavenly tranquility, the little door in the woods and still only 20 km away to Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and larger groups. Unless it is about uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

The space
We found our personal paradise here and invite you to experience it for yourself. We hope the pictures are meaningful and look forward to your questions, if anything is not apparent from them.
The area of the house is actually manageable with 45 square meters, due to its construction, the further bed on the gallery above the entrance area and of course the spacious terrace feels its size exactly right according to the feedback of our previous guests: For couples in love and families with and without pets, for reunions, as a romantic hideaway and last but not least as a place to come to rest alone, to clarify questions or to find directions. Based on our own experiences and interests, we are available as a sparring partner, if you wish and we can set it up somehow. Please do not misunderstand, we usually leave our guests completely alone. Only if it is explicitly desired and suitable we will gladly bring impulses and ideas from philosophy studies, travel, yoga training and coaching activity into your personal journey and we are happy if a really good conversation arises again although we do not travel anymore or even a new friendship arises.

The definitive highlight of the area is the terrace of our guest house. Whether you want to enjoy the sun, meditate, read or play music: you will not find a better place for your holiday. In addition to Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe, Kassel offers a wide range of cultural activities and various activities. Right outside the front door, the Kaufunger Wald invites you to hikes, mountain biking, discoveries or just to relax. At your own risk and under your supervision, children travelling with you are welcome to use the playgrounds of your hostess, as if there were the adventure playground in the forest, the trampoline, the horse tree house, the Hasenburg, etc. In summer as well as in winter, the Hohe Meißner is always a beautiful destination with great opportunities for young and old. The spa in Bad Sooden is even quieter than in Kassel and no less beautiful. A few kilometers away there is a man's playground for dredging, quad biking and so on. On hot days, Lake Michelskopf invites you to cool off as a hiking destination. Various riding stables offer the opportunity to explore the area on the more or less high horse. Anyone interested in organic farming will find much interesting in and around Witzenhausen. And the flyer collection gives much more ideas in the house...

Having stayed in hotel rooms during work way too often, I really enjoy a private, down-to-earth environment when traveling. As with the getting older comes o bit of fatigue concerning hostels, I'm quite happy for Airbnb.
Just like in sharing houses, I like the possibility to have my privacy by closing the door and therefore have it open all the time. After all, it's how I made most of my friends.
