Ballinskelligs the region

Ballinskelligs got its name from Irish: Baile a Sceilg, meaning "homestead of the rocks is a Gaeltacht village in the south-west of the Iveragh peninsula (Uíbh Ráthach) in County Kerry, Ireland. The rocks referred to in the village's Irish name are Skellig Michael and Little Skellig, an ancient monastic colony which lies off the coast from Ballinskelligs.
