The closed 2-room apartment (50 sqm) is located on the first floor and is accessed by a spiral staircase. It was renovated in 2015, and new windows with sound insulation have been available since April 2020.

There is a smoking and seating area behind the high fenced front yard to relax; bicycles are available in the garage on request. There's a parking lot outside the wooden gate at number 96.

The space
The cosy apartment is located in the quaint district of Niederholtorf at 168 m above sea level in Bonn, surrounded by forest and field, but directly on the local thoroughfare: since April 2020, all windows are new and soundproofed as well as the bedroom ceiling ;-)

The holiday apartment is located on the first floor of my old house and can be reached by a spiral staircase. Under renovated 2015.

In summer a covered sitting area is available in the fenced front garden with garden pond, there is also the smoking area.

Equipment:
Living in style mix (living room/kitchen): purolux water conditioner in the Kü above the basin: always filtered drinking water; microwave with oven and circulating air, two plate stove; TV/LCD flat screen/remote control: please note power switch; stainless steel kitchen, and refrigerator; WLAN, 3-seater couch, armchair, round dining table and 2 bucket seats; fan; basic food, various kitchen appliances+dishes.

Bedroom in North Sea style:
there are 2 steps up to the room, please note your head height when going down, wardrobe, desk; in summer: air conditioning; box spring -(140 cm) and bunk bed (80); skylight with outside roller shutter and new door without exit, only with grille.

My place is good for couples, solo travelers, or business travelers, but only conditionally for families with small kids: it does provide a travel cot + a high chair.

Points of interest:
Rhine Steig (hiking trail), the viewing platform is about 2.8 km away. Dornheckensee & two other lakes, Drachenfels (approx. 6 km), Drachenburg (approx. 6km) , Bonn city centre (7 km away: Beethoven Haus, Museumsmeile Bonn), Rheinaue (3 km), Kommende Castle (2 km), Siebengebirge, Petersberg, local recreation area Ennert.

My accommodation is surrounded by hiking trails, lakes, approx.1.5km: Lake Dornheckensee and Blue Lake, fields (150m), forest (300m) on the outskirts of Bonn in the nature and bird sanctuary at Ennert, bus stop is called Niederholtorf-Mitte (70m), nearest restaurant "13 Linden" (500m) , kiosk (500m), church (200m), bakery (100m), Kloster Heisterbach (5km).
