This listing is for a double room for a couple or even a single person could use it. The room is equipped with large double bed with cupboard, drawer and attached bathroom. There is a hanger, a working table and a chair.

From window too you can see a good view of neighbors and surrounding mountains like Nagarjun Hill, Swambhunath stupa, White Monastery, Chandragiri Hill etc.

We have different rooms with attached bathroom. Double bed or twin beds or single bedroom are available. We have different travelers in home in same time. Thus you have an opportunity to interact with other guests and with the family if you like.

As this is in second/third floor, you have to climb a stair case. There is a sharing kitchen, this is good for long stay guests as they could prepare their meal by themselves. While as short stay could make tea or coffee so that we do not make the kitchen too busy and disturb the long stay guest. In use of kitchen you could give us some operational cost.

We also provide cooking class of MO MO making or Nepali Daal Bhat.
We do have facility of using washing machine, but we charge some operation cost.

We have a big terrace and small terrace. In terrace you could do yoga and enjoy great view of sunrise and sunset, admire the city view.

We live in a mixed residential/business area, with few guest houses, and mainly Nepali family houses and small businesses. It is just north of the main tourist area of Thamel.

The neighborhood is a mixture of residential and commercial areas. We are in a quiet street, two steps north of the tourist area. There are traditional Nepalese and Tibetan cafes.

As we are renting some private rooms and Two Bedrooms Apartment, we have other guests at home too. You could interact with other guests as well as family member.
Here, we can help to you to discover how Nepalese people live, their traditions and culture. If you would like to learn Nepali style cooking, we can assist you. We can also provide breakfast with an extra charge.

We are centrally located in the heart of Kathmandu, Nepal. Our house is in a good location in residential area which is further close to Thamel (the tourist hub) just about 6/10 min walk. Therefore, for shopping, cafes, restaurants, buses, taxis, banking etc no need to be worry. We are close to Tourist bus park thus it a good location for both business travelers and holiday-makers.
From the roof top and some rooms could enjoy the great view of #Swambhunath stupa, UNESCO heritage site, Hills surrounding like #Nagarjuna Hill, #White Gompa, #Chandragiri and other mountain

My family consist of 4 members, myself, my husband, and my lovely 2 kids. At home we speak, Nepali our mother tongue, me newari (one of the dialect of Nepal), English, French and Hindi. We assist you to discover the different cultures, tradition of Nepal as already we are mix of two ethnic groups. We love to interact with different people, make participation in our local function. I love to do intercultural exchange, share knowledge, experiences.

I did Hotel Management and Master in Tourism. I had also worked in French Embassy in Nepal. We are both professional license holder of Tour guide and Trekking guide. As being guide, I could accompany for sightseeing in city tour, bike tours etc.

I am also passionate of yoga so yoga lover could join me for yoga.

Nous sommes une petite famille de 4 personnes, moi-même, mon mari, et nos deux filles. Moi même et mon mari parlons couramment français, anglais, hindi, népalais et néwari (dialecte du Népal). En fait notre famille est un mélange de deux ethnies (culture). Je peux vous faire la connaissance de deux cultures différentes et des autres cultures du Népal.
Moi j'ai fait l'hôtellerie et Master au Tourisme. J'ai aussi travaillé à l'ambassade de France au Népal. Nous avons une agence locale "Sunshine Trekking" –agence francophone locale alors si vous avez besoin d'aide pour organiser le séjour, trek, la visite culturelle, le vol domestique ou billet de bus touristique n'hésitez pas à nous contacter.

Etant guide culturelle je peux vous faire découvrir les sites touristiques et vous accompagner pour la randonnée dans la nature. Aussi, je peux vous accompagner pour le tour en scooter etc. Je suis amateur de yoga, dans la matinée si vous voulez nous pouvons faire le yoga ensemble.
Notre maison est trois et demi étages. Nous sommes à la proximité de Thamel (le quartier touristique) - juste 10 min à pied. Alors pour les magasins, restaurants, cafés, banques, il n'y a aucun souci. C’est bien situé pour les voyageurs également pour les hommes d’affaires.
Depuis la terrasse, on peut admirer les montagnes aux alentours et la belle vue de Swambhunath (temple du singe).
Nous louons quelques chambres privées et un appartement avec deux chambres alors vous avez aussi une bonne l'occasion de rencontrer des gens de différentes nationalités et partager la joie entre nous. D'ailleurs les chambres privées vous avez un salon et une cuisine partagée (en cas d'utilisation vous pouvez nous donner une petite sommes), c'est bien pour les clients qui sont là pour une durée longue.
