Set in a historic part of Havant town 1 Vellum Court is a Grade II listed luxury apartment perfect for a romantic getaway, a family of four or even a business trip. Close to Langstone Harbour, Hayling Island Beach, Emsworth, Chichester, Portsmouth and Isle of Wight, you will not be lost for things to do. Try out water sports, outlet shop at Gunwharf, or visit one of the local independant eateries on your doorstep. The local train station has excellent travel links including to London.

The space
The entire ground floor apartment is yours for your stay
I am passionate about making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
You will find a king size Simba mattress in the master bedroom and comfy singles in the twin room. All bedding is 100% cotton. The towels are large and fluffy.
The seating is a large corner sofa and a great area to lounge with family or friends.
Recently installed is a beautiful bathroom which now offers a large walk in wet room shower next to the bath.
I am fastidious about cleanliness and try to imagine how I would want to find it if I were a guest.
I feel that you will enjoy it as much as my family and I did living there for 10 years.

The Springwell development is steeped in history. It produced gloves, parchment and 4 Springwell was vellum, a paper made of animal skins. Making use of the clean natural spring and chalk in the water it produced the whitest vellum. According to many sources, the paper was used to print the Versailles Treaty and Magna Carta!

A Waitrose groceries store is just s few minutes walk from the property.
There is also a large Tesco a little further away but still in short walking distance. This is opposite a retail park which includes a Mark’s and Spencer’s store selling food and clothing, and various other clothing stores and cafes.
There are some cafes, pubs, restaurants and also a market on a Tuesday and Saturday.
The train station taking you directly to London in 1hr 20 is only a 5 minute walk.
