Casa galgibaga is located in South Goa on the pristine Galgibaga beach, which is a turtle nesting beach and an environmentally protected piece of land. The house is just under a minutes walk away from the beach.

The space
Galgibaga is a special place for me. Special because of the genuine warmth of its people, special because my house was built on a dune that was part of the beach, special because it feels like nature herself has adopted this tiny village and made it her very own. Galgibaga is the kind of place that you’ve heard about in storybooks. Nestled between the Arabian Sea, two rivers and a small hillock, the expansive beach is your own private paradise. As my grandparents told me, Galgibaga isn’t what is shown to you, but what you discover yourself. This place to me is more than just a house by the beach; it’s the forest, the rivers and the hills that surround it. At Casa Galgibaga we aim to preserve this beautifully unique space that’s slowly fading away.

Where you’ll be

Our house is located in a village, with dogs, crows, chickens and cows, and children playing, where fishing, festivals and firecrackers are all part of daily life. However, the house is located near the beach, set on a large property and is one of the most tranquil places to stay in the area.
