Casa Iguana Verde is a charming and romantic casita in the private community of Punta Blanca on the east end of Roatan, Honduras, where the jungle meets the sea. Guests will enjoy peace and tranquility in this cozy retreat, far away from the tourists crowds.

The space
The grounds are as breathtakingly beautiful as any local arboretum with magnificent tropical blooms of fragrant orchids ( the national flower of Honduras) Hibiscus and Birds Of Paradise. Plentiful fruits such as the sweet and tart finger sized apple banana, mangoes, coconuts, papaya, hog plums, limes and pineapple pepper the lush landscape.
This 1 bedroom splendidly furnished guest house has a fully furnished kitchen including a full sized refrigerator and stove/oven with beautiful views and gentle sea breeze. Be lulled into a restful island sleep on the plush queen size bed, while listening to the lapping waters of the nearby marina. The en suite bathroom has a single vanity sink and walk in stone tile shower.

In 2008, our Caribbean living adventure was just a dream... After much internet research, Ron made a 3 month trip to the island, to explore, as well as earning his divemaster certificate in 2011. When Heather arrived for a somewhat shorter visit, we fell in love with the island together. In 2013, we purchased a lovely hillside lot in Punta Blanca, and began the move south. In early 2014, after becoming certified to teach SCUBA, Ron began construction of Casita Iguana Verde, utilizing his experience as a builder in the US. Ron resides on the island full time, while teaching SCUBA, and maintaining the property, and Heather splits her time between traveling the US as a nurse and living on the island.
