WoodStay Lodge has 4 self-catering units and is situated on a smallholding with a farm-like atmosphere. Please note our rates are per person, and NOT per unit. Close to Black Rock Casino, Newcastle Mall and family-friendly activities. You’ll love WoodStay Lodge because of the coziness and relaxed atmosphere. Couples, solo adventurers and business travellers, young and old are welcome. A short drive will take you to historical sites such as Majuba, Rorkes Drift and Blood River Memorial.

The space
Please note we charge per person and not per unit. 4 self-catering apartments with separate entrances, each have a fully equipped kitchen with 4 plate stove and oven. DSTV and air-cons in 3 units. Located on equestrian estate (small-holding) with farm-like atmosphere, tranquil and serene, with horses, dogs and amazing bird life.
- Uiltjie (Owl) sleeps 2 guests (1 double bed) en suite and has a separate lounge and kitchen.
- KitKat is a spacious 2 bedroom family unit with 1 bathroom and accommodates 4 guests. (1 queen bed, 2 single beds)
- Lonely Oak Cottage has 1 bedroom en suite and a sleeper couch in living area. Sleeps 3 guests. 1 double bed, 1 single bed in living area. 1 bathroom, shower only.
Newly completed unit is called Nguni and accommodates 2 guests.
All units have airconditioning, DSTV, a full kitchen with 4 plate stove and oven, fridge etc. A stoep (patio) area with braai facilities available. WoodStay Lodge does not offer meals = fully self-catering
