La Glisse is a rustic self catered 4 bedroom ski-to-the-door chalet with out door hot tub located on the edge of a beautiful old alpine village, surrounded by forests and glaciers in one of the best all round ski areas in the world.

La Glisse is a self catered 4 bedroom ski-to-the-door chalet in Chamonix, one of the best all round ski areas in the world. The chalet has 4 double beds and 2 singles, plus a parking garage.

The chalet (which used to be a restaurant on the piste) is located on the edge of a beautiful old alpine village, surrounded by forests and glaciers and being situated at 1,500m, it is guaranteed to be surrounded by snow all winter. It is comfortable for up to 8 people with an inviting hot tub outside in the snow and a roaring log fire inside. The large lounge is open plan with expansive west facing windows that soak in the afternoon sun and the stunning valley and mountain views. The kitchen opens onto the lounge and dining area, with a bar counter in between that encourages interaction between the various areas.

As it is a restaurant conversion the space is fun but unconventional with ladders to get to the two mezzanine sleeping areas - as shown in the pictures.

It is one hour from Geneva airport and in the middle of the best skiing in Europe, offering guaranteed snow for all levels of skiing. Ski school is directly behind the chalet (50m walk), where there are also great beginner and intermediate slopes from which you can ski back to the front door. And Les Grand Montets with some of the best skiing in the world is the neighbouring mountain.
