Where you’ll be

Agnano, Tuscany, Italy

In 1486 Agnano was chosen by Lorenzo the Magnificent as a home for his summer residence, where he commissioned the construction of the magnificent Medici villa that we can still admire nowadays.
Via Viviani was called "Via degli Americani" because emigrants came to America to build their homes when they came back to their country with some money in their pockets. Toscana Flat is part of one of these houses, therefore it is located in a very characteristic inhabited context and, due to its position, rural context, with the presence of pets in the back gardens.
At Agnano the roads end and the trails begin on Monte Pisano.
Besides of course the Piazza dei Miracoli and the San Matteo Museum, I recommend visiting the Park of San Rossore, 23,000 hectares of green 4 km from the Tower of Pisa, the Botanical Garden 400 meters from Piazza dei Miracoli, the Certosa di Calci 4 km from the house, where there is also the sixteenth-century Museum of Natural History, also nice for children! Another place not to be missed is Marina di Pisa with its small panoramic harbor and the free beaches. Pisa Central Station is at 15 minutes from Toscana Flat, go to La Spezia to visit the famous Cinque Terre! Moreover, Agnano is only 13 km from Pisa Galileo Galilei International Airport, 10 km from the free parking of Via Pietrasantina to the Leaning Tower, 7 km from Pisa CNR and Cisanello Hospital, 5 km from the historic Terme di Pisa, 20 from the sea , 17 from Lucca, 21 from Viareggio-Versilia, 28 from Livorno harbor and 75 from Florence. Absolutely do not miss a visit to Volterra, Etruscan city, really amazing! 60 km from Agnano and to Parco di Pinocchio in Collodi. We recommend the car. However, if you don't, take the shuttle People Moover from Pisa Airport to the Central Station, bus number 110 from Pisa Sesta Porta, near Central Station, to Agnano, bus stop Via Viviani 30 mt from home.

I love spending time outdoors, reading narrative, writing articles and little wages about the Indian civilization, and hiking in the fields, trails, and swimming in the sea. I practice Pilates and Zen meditation. I'm a music listener of all genres as long as I am of the highest standard. I don't watch TV, but I'm passionate about TV shows. I read, in addition to the great authors and the great authors of the Italian 20th century, Jonathan Franzen, Arundhati Roy, Antonia Byatt and others. Among the books I love most: "Christ stopped in Eboli" by Carlo Levi. I love traveling to stay for a long time in a place, a home, and get to know the locals. I like to host people from all over the world and be able to allow many families and young people to visit Tuscany by spending an affordable amount for their stay and making them feel at home in a typical Tuscan, safe and familiar environment. I don't have pet food, however, I fit well in all kinds of cuisines.
