Nestled in a cluster of Milkwood trees is this spacious & luxurious beach home on the secure, exclusive Klein Slangkop Estate with direct access to pristine beaches of Kommetjie.
The villa is architecturally designed for outdoor & coastal living. Incredible interiors open onto an indigenous garden with bird life, sounds of the ocean, lap pool & seamless flow for entertaining. In summer, enjoy outdoor living & dining. In winter, share the warmth of the fireplace. Beach strolls are year round.

The space
Architecturally designed - the interiors open to the outdoors making it a special space for family and friends to connect and create lasting memories.

It’s a perfect setting - beautiful, easy living, with a pool, the sound of the waves, mountainous views and stroll to ocean.

The villa is well appointed and fully equipped for entertaining and foodies.

The space is generous in size and proportion. There are 4 comfortable bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suites and 1 bathroom servicing the other 2 bedrooms. Plus an additional outdoor bath and shower from the main bedroom.
All 4 of the bedrooms have great views. The 3 bedrooms downstairs open onto the manicured garden and pool area. The main bedroom upstairs has views over a roof top garden, across the sea to the distant mountains of Hout Bay.

The villa has many unique features including:
- a gorgeous roof top garden
- a private study/office for guests that need to work in a private space
- an additional outdoor shower and bath, off the main bedroom, so you can soak up in nature under the sparkle of the stars

We love that we sometimes get a midnight visit from a porcupine:) and can spot little tortoises ambling about.

This eco villa is powered by solar and has rain water tanks.

The home is kids friendly with a little park in our cul-de-sac that has swings. The pool has a cover and we can also arrange for child minding care should you require assistance with your children. The estate is secure and you’ll often find children riding their bikes, strolling with surf boards, walking their dogs or skate boarding. If you are looking for your children to appreciate the beauty of nature, you can rest assured that here they can truly live the outdoor adventure of Cape Town. Your children will love the freedom to run around and explore in this natural setting!

In summer, enjoy lounging around the pool and BBQ outdoors on an open fire.
In winter the fireplace is a treat for indoor dining as well as cosy lounging with a book & good glass of wine.

Traveling over the mountain from the city towards Kommetjie is breathtaking. One of the many marvels is spotting the Flamingoes, in the vlei, a walk along the beach from our estate.

Klein Slangkop Private Estate is a hidden jewel of the Cape and this gorgeous home is the perfect backdrop to create beautiful holiday memories.

One of the reasons we absolutely love Kommetjie is the incredible unspoiled natural setting that breathes life and creativity.

I'm obsessed with creating. We create healthy raw snacks & food, and have been fortunate to turn this obsession into a business, Herbivore Earthfoods and our on-line store.

My partner, Davey, is a raw vegan so the snacks and foods that we create are both raw, plant-based, delicious and for everyone including vegans and vegetarians.

Davey is an adventurer, author of the book 'Choosing to Live' and an avid surfer, and what better beach to have on your doorstep than the surf of Long Beach:)
