Barna Woods lie to the right as one drives from Galway, and the left turn brings the visitor to Silver Strand, one of Galway's most popular beaches.
Fine views of the Burren Hills in Co Clare can be obtained from here, and the Aran Islands can also be seen when conditions are right.

The Galway Coast Cottages in Barna, Galway are in a fantastic location and are all recently renovated and decorated with stylish, calm interiors and plenty of comfy couches for you to relax on. Walking distance to Barna village, the pier, the beach and loads of shops, cafes, restaurants/bars. The views of Galway Bay from the cottages are amazing and our welcome message has plenty of personal info on how to get the most out of your stay in Galway.
