Newly refurbished - Ascot, like its twin Sandown, has an ample sized, well equipped kitchen with a table and four chairs and a comfy sofa that turns down to a bed in seconds. A TV is included in the kitchen.

Being on the northern limit of Kent before the River Thames, Cliffe is a very quiet village of three thousand people surrounded by farmland.The village has a very large Church proving that the area was a very important area for trade years gone by.
The area boasts two RSPB reserves(one within easy walking distance)where you can find fascinating walks on the North Kent Marshes.
We have a Public House 400m away , one 2 miles away and another on the road in - all serving fine food. Also in the village we have a Chinese take away.
An Indian restaurant and a Fish and Chips take away can be found in Cliffe Woods 2 miles away.
Within 10 minutes you can escape the rural area and discover the Medway Towns where there is so much to see and do.
A tour round the Castle or a stroll through the beautiful Cathedral.
You can go to the Ropery in Chatham Dockyard or a tour around the Royal Engineers Museum in Brompton- Break the day up with a nice lunch in one of the many restaurants in Rochester High street before your return to the Stables
