Grande Anse in Deshaies, maybe one of the best places to visit in Guadeloupe, and certainly one of the nicest beaches in the Caribbean. Grande Anse is surrounded by beautiful hills, and along this coast you'll find superb diving/snorkeling spots.

The space
The beach is at walking distance, and you'll enjoy stunning sunsets from our terrace overlooking the bay. Deshaies is probably one the friendliest places in Guadeloupe, with its easy-going and laid-back atmosphere.
The apartment "gîte" : 3 rooms. 45 sq.m. 2 and up to 3 guests. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 WC, kitchen and living-room, loggia, terrace, garden, private parking and swimming-pool. Independent access. Sea view.
Bedding : 2 double-beds.
Services : Linen provided, toilet linen provided. Changed every week. We don't provide towels for the beach.
Appliances/equipment : Dishes and cutlery, cooking utensils, fridge, freezer, stove/cooker, oven and microwave, hob, air-con, fans, safe, TV-DVD player, satellite, free internet access (Wi-Fi). Mosquito nets.

Deshaies (the village) is 1.5 mile away.
Sights and activities : Tennis, rafting, fishing, horse-riding, swimming, water sports, diving, snorkeling, whale-watching, sailing, hiking, mountain-biking, wind-surfing, surfing, naturism. Guadeloupe is also famous for its lush nature : the National Park, la Soufrière (volcano), magnificent waterfalls, mangrove, small but amazing islands around the "mainland", all readily accessible from our place in Northern Basse-Terre.
