Lapeng (meaning 'home' in local Sesotho language) is a Bed and Breakfast nestled in a scenic valley in the heart of Roma in the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. Our accommodation includes Eight thatched modern styled ensuite traditional huts making a total of Ten rooms. Ideal for backpackers and family groups. Located 31 km (19miles) from our country's capital Maseru and are en route, 81 km (50miles) to Semonkong home of the beautiful Maletsunyane Falls.

Roma is a University town and is home to Lesotho's National University. There are basic amenities such as Supermarkets and smaller shops to get supplies. Operating hours of these shops are 8 a.m to 7.30 p.m. Ready made foods are available and most if not all cater for student tastes and budgets. Most choices lean more towards Fast Food. There is a local bakery as well.

There are 2 pharmacies, one is 6 mins walk from where we are located and the other about 8 mins walk.

Both Vodacom and Econet phone service centres are present in Roma and are within walking distance.
