Our place is 10 min to the nearest beach, Summerside
Our property is centrally located in the country. We are on the Trans Canada Hwy. There can be some noise, although most don't find it a bother.
The property is a well maintained hobby farm.
We do allow friendly,well behaved dogs. No pit bulls aloud on property.
Pet Fee of 10.00 per dog per night will be charged upon Check-in. No more than 2 dogs aloud. You must let us know if you are bringing a dog at time of booking.

The space
We had a vision when we bought our property back in 1995, we wanted to turn the century old out buildings into country cottages. Robert with is many years as a building contractor and his vision to create beautiful spaces did just that. The Olde Homestead and Light House cottages were once a Pig barn and the Country Garden cottage a well house. The transformation is that they are now cute country cottages each with a unique Island theme.
Cottages are small, clean, cozy, fully furnished for your comfort. We are a family owned and run country property. We are not fancy. If you don't care to see a horse, chickens, goat, rabbit or come in contact with our dog, we are not the best choice for you.
Laundry service available for a small fee of 8.00 per load. With advance arrangement, you may drop off your laundry to be washed and dried. We will return it to your cottage unfolded.

We are centrally located in the country, in the community of Bedeque.
Ten minutes from the Confederation Bridge on the Trans. Canada Hwy.
The cottages sit a good distance back from the road, although there can be a bit of noise, most are not bothered by it. We have zero neighbors in a close proximity. The property is grassy, flower gardens, vegetable garden, horse pasture, chicken coop, old barn, farmhouse and 3 cottages.
It's nice and relaxed well cared for but not fancy. We treat for insects, but they can still be around in certain conditions.

We moved to Prince Edward Island in 1997, after living under the northern lights of Alaska, the pristine mountains of Breckenridge Colorado, the charming island of Martha's Vineyard Massachusetts. Our family lives the property in the big farmhouse. Parking is located at the end of driveway. Do not drive past the gate. Short walk to the cottage. Check in at the front entrance. If we are unable to greet you, self check-in instructions will be in the mailbox with your name on it.
We are happy to help in any planning and love to share the best places to visit and see. We prefer face to face over texting.
Evening propane bonfires on our deck, you are welcome to join in if you would like to socialize. Marshmallows inc.
