Newly renovated 400 square-foot studio with private entrance, bath & patio. Features new king size bed, microwave, large mini fridge, toaster oven and coffee maker. Adorable mid-century beachy decor, soft linens and pillows. The large antique furnished bathroom has a claw foot tub, double sink, walk in shower and a separate water closet. A backyard filled with lush tropical plants, edible plants and orchids. Relax by the pool during the day and soak in the hot tub under the stars. Or enjoy a s’more by the recently added fire pit. The Skyline neighborhood is an eclectic area of family homes and nature loving people. All of our neighbors are very proud to live in this beautiful place. Note that we live near a railroad crossing (as do most homes in Jensen). This may be an issue if you're a light sleeper. While inside when a train passes you hardly know it, you may hear the horn as it passes the gates.

We have been Airbnb members since 2013. We have always had positive experiences and now we would like to share our little slice of paradise with you.
Doug was a firefighter and I was in the medical and medical information business. We both retired in 2021. We have 3 grown children & a granddaughter that we love to visit and also love them to come home for a visit.
We are water people, whether it is the ocean, the Indian River Lagoon, or our beautiful Florida Springs. We just want to be in the water boating, paddleboarding, snorkeling or surfing. (Doug does the surfing). We also love live music especially if it is a destination. That brings us back to travel, the reason we all joined Airbnb.

It is truly up to you how you would like to interact. Living here as long as we have, we know all the secret spots and great restaurants in the area and would love to share them with you. Doug and I live in the upstairs of the house and are almost always available for a chat or happy hour sunset.
