At our Gecko House relaxation isn’t just another word…it’s a way of life. Our three-bedroom, ocean and beach front villa is a perfect place to sip your morning coffee on the private porch while taking in the superb ocean views. Take a sunset stroll along the beach whilst splashing in the tidal pools. Whatever your energy level, Gecko House is the ideal retreat after a long day.

The space
Gecko House is off the beaten path. On a tranquil island, where nature abounds, where the ocean and beaches are at their best, with an unhurried pace of life and with islanders, much known for their old-fashioned hospitality and friendliness. Located in an intimate out island style resort, with great food, and some casual evening fun. It’s a place for anyone who seeks to get away from every-day’s stress, who loves nature, who loves being at and in the water. From singles to couples, from families to small groups. And there is no better place for a romantic island wedding, barefoot or elegant, or for celebrating your anniversary! We await you and promise to pamper you!

Located on tranquil Long Island, Stella Maris is a place where the world’s troubles are forgotten, where time stands still. Where you will slow your pace and recharge your inner-self.

You will never feel crowded in this Resort setting and do feel free to ask for rates for any resort activities that you may wish to participate in. Three hotel pools dot the resort’s palm gardens that you are welcome to use.

At the main club house we offer daily breakfast, lunch and dinner … complemented by the casual shore-side “Moonshine” beach bar-and-grill.

Here, you’ll never get bored: Go and snorkel, dive, fish, bike, sail, kayak, paddle board, explore caves, watch bird life, sight-see, visit local island life, dance at our Rum Punch Parties, join a boat or air excursion to nearby islands … but never forget to find time for yourself at one of our many beautiful bays and beaches, in all likelihood leaving only but your own footprints behind.

Stella Maris Water Sports’ scuba diving gives you some of the Bahamas’ best highlights: Shark Reef, The Wreck, the gorgeous Conception Wall, and famous “Dean’s” Blue Hole.

Our Bone Fishing is fantastic in a-stone’s-throw-away “Adderley’s and Glenton’s” bays.

And Big Game Fishing beckons you from two shorelines.
