Our lower ground floor basement flat has its own private entrance-way at the side of our house, with self check in, so there is no contact. The bedroom has a double bed & opens out to a lovely garden. There is a modern, well equipped kitchen/lounge & adjacent private bathroom. We are near the city centre & University & there is free street parking nearby. The flat has stairs inside & outside!

The space
We have taken Covid and safety very seriously: we have implemented a covid enhanced cleaning scheme and we are leaving a minimum of one day between each guest staying so the flat can be properly cleaned and safely aired with no bugs present at all for our safety and the safety of our guests. We have no contact with guests as there is self- check in, apart from waving and greeting them from the house above! If we have to access the downstairs garden we do so whilst wearing a mask and gloves! Contact with guests is by messaging!

Chez Vera is decorated with a Scandinavian influence in charcoal and muted tones with an emphasis on soft textures and warmth.
The flat has all mod cons-dishwasher/ washing machine/ microwave/ oven/ smart TV. and WiFi. We provide clean towels and try to provide everything we can to make our guests stay as comfortable as possible- everything for the weary traveller! Plus all guests have direct access to our beautiful tropical garden, with outside eating . We only allow one pet to stay as the flat is quite small.

The bedroom, is very light and airy with patio windows onto our beautiful garden. It has a double bed which has a brand new pillow-top -pocket sprung mattress. The flat sleeps two in this double bed only!

The Lounge/ kitchen is an internal room with only one small window so very little natural light, but it is decorated in light airy colours and has lots of modern artificial lights with a smart TV.

There is a short walk to the bathroom down an adjacent, shared corridor. The bathroom is newly- fitted modern and completely private for the guests only.

The guests have their own private side entrance so they can come and go as they please.

Free Street Parking around the corner a minute, is always available.
Our stylish flat is situated in leafy Mannamead, in the historic city of Plymouth we are close to the city centre and all Plymouth’s amenities.

People who have accessibility problems should be aware that our flat has a lot of stairs down to the entrance and then a few steps inside the flat; one down to the bedroom, one from the kitchen to the lounge and one down the hall to the bathroom. The bathroom is down a long narrow corridor, so not really suitable for people who have walking problems, are near-sighted or who use a stick!
Not ideal for people with disabilities or the elderly!

Lovely Victorian period villa in the quiet residential neighbourhood of Mannamead, with lots of trees and parks if you are a keen jogger it is ideal. BUT near to shops (Aldi/ Tesco/The Cooperative/Sainsbury’s) the City Centre/ University ( 20 minute walk/ 5 /10 minute bus journey) and world heritage beaches and countryside. The bus stop for buses into the city centre is just around the corner!
