My wife and I live in the UK and thus decided to let this Kolkata Pad out on AirBnB, managed by our reliable staff and supervised by my father-in-law. A complete residential building, it is Ideal for couples, solo adventurers, family and business travellers. With ample public transport options, many restaurants and take away joints within walking distance and the beautiful Rabindra Sarobar lake just 5 minutes away, this place could be just what you wanted. We would love to have you stay at ours.

The space
A self-contained top floor apartment in the heart of South Kolkata with all amenities for a pleasant stay. The guests would have access to a good sized living and dining space, a double bedroom with air-conditioning and ensuite, a spare double bedroom, also with air-conditioning and sofa bed, bathrooms with geyser, shower, health faucets and a decently equipped kitchen.

This is a simple apartment with ample space for you to walk around rather than plenty of furniture lying around. Free unlimited wi-fi and cable television takes care of your In house entertainment. With massive sliding windows in all rooms and south facing layout, you are never short of ample fresh air. You can feel at home away from your home for the duration of your stay.

This is one of the most peaceful yet vibrant neighbourhoods in south kolkata. Completely residential, there are loads of good takeaway joints and restaurants around this area and the Rabindra Sarobar lake is just 5 minutes walk away if you fancy exploring the greenery in the busy city of Kolkata.

The Single Screen Menoka Cinema hall is 5 minutes walk away and the new Multi Screen Cinepolis in Lake Mall is just 15 minutes walk away. Lake Mall is good for shopping with a Big Bazaar in it for your daily needs. But if you would rather walk just 2 minutes for your groceries, there are 4 shops in the road itself for you.

Since I do not live in Kolkata, my interaction with the guests would be purely over the Internet and phone. However my staff would be able to answer any questions you might have. I am born and bred in Kolkata so I know a fair amount of roads, eateries, tourist attractions and rules of the city so please feel free to ask. I would be the primary point of contact for the guests through the AirBnB app and I would do my best to answer queries to the best of my knowledge at an earliest possible time.
