You will go back back to medieval times, fully renovated in 2016 according to the traditional architecture - incorporating interventions to facilitate your stay in a modern and luxury environment .

The space
Two level stone house of unique beauty, can easily accommodate 4 persons.

Guests will be enchanted from the medieval genoese architecture (stone glazed structures, wooden tarace etc)

The first floor includes :

A spacious room with double bed and fully equipped private bathroom.
There is also the wooden internal stairs giving access the upper floor.


The upper floor includes :

A fully equipped kitchen ( oven, ceramic hob, refrigerator, basin, countertop, breakfast table, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, cookware and dinnerware such as pots and pans and plates and cutlery )

Spacious Living room with comfortable sofa, tv and dinner table.

A traditional wooden loft with two single beds.

Private fully equipped bathroom.

From the first floor we have access to a balcony for relax.

All rooms are air-conditioned.

There is a satellite TV and free WiFi internet access.

We also provide cleaning tools and equipment and a vacuum cleaner.

The exact date that the village was built remains unknown, however, references made by travelers and historians indicate that the village was built around 1050. Legend has it that the first family to inhabit this village left the village of Kalamoti and searched for an area with better weather conditions. They came upon this hill and built a tower in which to reside in. This is the first house of the village belonging to the family “Mendona.”

The village, in its time, was a typical castle-village that was customary during that period. The houses were connected, each built right next to the other, without any windows or exterior doors. This architecture formed the protective wall, thus forming a castle village. Still in existence today are the stone balconies and windows that were built following the era of pirates.

Inside the castle village today are two chapels. One belongs to Aghios Nikolaos (St. Nicholas) and the other to Taxiarchi (the Archangel). These were also made from stone and were connected to houses thereby bonding them together. However, what differentiates these chapels from the houses is the fact that they are both shorter in height and can be distinguished by visitors.

Today, visitors walk through the corridors of the village in awe of the ancient stone built houses, the cozy corners with opened and closed shutters, the multiple colored attic windows, in addition to the plethora of reconstructed shells that conceal within their walls popular art treasures such as pillars and fireplaces.

There is a restaurant / cafeteria located in the village square.

The village celebrates the festival of St. John on August 29th.

Leaving the city life, I decided to return to my hometown Patrika, a small mediaval village in Chios.
My village the Patrika, is one of the 21 famous "mastic villages", located in the fragrant "Land of Mastic" on the south side of the island.
I invite you to live a unique travel experience in a quiet village, where you can make endless walks in the beautiful nature, to collect unique herbs offered by Chian earth, moreover Chios is known as "Myrovolos Chios", meet close the cultivation of mastic, see the mastic trees and scratching your mastic tree, the tear which will be produced, will be send viaa courier to your place in the winter !!
As for the sea does not need many words.
The beautiful beaches of the island are only a few minutes around !! I will guide you one by one!
