Come and enjoy this freshly renovated 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house right on the waters edge at Mannering Park. Sheltered in a quiet bay just 200 metres from the boat ramp, you can launch your boat or jetski and park it at our jetty just metres from the back door. Enjoy a quiet drink under the stars by the crackling firepit overlooking the lake. Ideal for 4 couples or 2 families looking for a quick getaway just an hour up the freeway from Wahroonga.

King Bedroom: has an en-suite with a large shower and a separate bathtub, walk in wardrobe, air-conditioning and balcony with lake front views.

Queen Bedroom (Upstairs): has a sofa, air-conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities, built in wardrobe. It is serviced by an adjacent bathroom and separate toilet.

Queen Bedrooms (Downstairs): built in wardrobes, both rooms share a bathroom opposite with a separate toilet.

Upstairs Living Room: double sofa bed, Single Day Bed, air-conditioning, TV with PlayStation & DVD player, fully opening bi-fold doors onto a balcony with lake front views, bean bags & board games.

Downstairs Living & Dining Room: large, square 8 seater dining table (can seat 10 with 2 extra chairs), Air-conditioning, Pool Table, TV with Foxtel & Netflix.

Outdoors: 25m private jetty, flexible outdoor dining table (can be set up as one large table, or two smaller ones). Fire pit with a long bench seat. Fish from the jetty (bring your own gear) or use the provided crab nets. Launch your boat or jet ski at the boat ramp located just 200m down the end of the street.

Kitchen & Laundry: There is a dishwasher, induction stove top, oven, large microwave, coffee pod machine, fully equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, foil, gladwrap, condiments etc. There is a washing machine in the laundry.

Garage & extras: double garage has a ping pong table, clothes line, fridge & life jackets. 3 kayaks (1 double & 2 singles) & SU paddleboard. There is also Cricket, Boccee, Badmington, Volleyball, Totem Tennis & Magnetic Dart Board. There is also plenty of off street parking.

We are environmentally conscious hosts and have had a large solar power system installed and have a recycled water system.

Mannering Park is a quiet little town on the southern shores of Lake Macquarie just off the Pacific Highway. It is very sheltered from all directions except West so the water is mostly very calm and ideal for fishing, boating and watersports. The boatramp is just 200m away along the waterfront.

My wife & I bought Sand in December 2014 with the ultimate objective of it being our home in retirement. As such we have been applying lots of TLC to Sand so our guests get to enjoy the home as much as we plan to.
We recently had Free Wi-Fi connected after listening to what guests want on their breaks. We are keen to hear from our guests and are responsive to any issues that may crop up.
We are in our '50's and have 2 adult children and I'm still working. We keep pretty active, especially running up to Sand frequently. I've recently taken up Go-Karting and my wife Anne is quite crafty with an avid interest in crossstitch and card making.
