There truly is something special about Beddgelert - the 'meeting' of the Colwyn and Gwynant rivers as they flow around majestic Snowdon. The purple heather covered slopes of the Snowdon foothills surrounds this terraced cottage in the village.

The space
The cottage has a light and airy modern feel with a large modern convenient kitchen and a spacious lounge. From the door there are many excellent walks, either up hills and mountains or along the rivers to mystical lakes. There are interesting pony treks locally, a copper mine to investigate, lakes to fish in, to boat upon, or picnic beside. This is a fine central location for enjoying both the mountains and the sea as the coast at Porthmadog is only 7 ml down the valley to the golden sandy beaches at Black Rock Sands. Betws y Coed, Swallow Falls and Conwy valley 15 ml.

Where you’ll be

Beddgelert, Gwynedd, United Kingdom

Beddgelert is undoubtedly Snowdonia’s loveliest village. A place of legend, culture and history; yet rich with activities, adventures and attractions. It is a beautiful place to visit, and an even better place to stay for a holiday.

We extend a very warm welcome to all our visitors. People leave Beddgelert with a lifetime of memories, and many return year after year. There’s a long tradition of hospitality in these parts – after all Beddgelert has been welcoming visitors for hundreds of years!

The village, in keeping with its location in the Snowdonia National Park, is picturesque and unspoilt. Small and friendly, it boasts a full range of amenities, including quality shops, arts and crafts, great restaurants, traditional pubs and a busy calendar of events.

The beautiful Aberglaslyn Pass and the Nant Gwynant valley are near-by neighbours. Wooded vales, rocky slopes and mountain lakes fill the surrounding countryside. And what a countryside it is; with scenery activities, attractions, history and culture for all.

I first went to Mexico 13 years ago. I fell in love with the Riviera Maya and now have this apartment which I visit regularly with my wife and young family. Pure relaxation!
