The space
Dear Traveler,

We welcome you to relax in our guest house located in a typical mountain village of Transylvania. Enjoy your coffee in the heart of nature right as you take your first step outside into the sun. Take a walk through our garden as birds trill, flowers blossom and the river runs by. Afar a beautiful scenery : the forests invite you to take a hike.

While nature offers you a pleasant stay our guest house provides a laid back lodging due to its facilities : warm water, electricity, heating, fully equipped kitchen, TV, wifi.
The house in detail : big living room with cosy extendable couches and armchairs, bathroom, kitchen with dining area, open attic with 4 beds.
If the beds inside are not enough we offer a camping possibility (tents provided) as we have two extra bathrooms outside. In the backyard you can do sports (football, badminton etc.) or simply sunbathe. If you are more of the barbecue type you can do that by the river and eat outside in a covered terrace. During summer sometimes (when the wheater permits )you can swim in the refreshing mountain river(it is a mountain river,after all), go fishing or sit by the bonfire in the evening.
The special extra : the neighbors – you won’t get by without tasting some of their regional products : fresh milk, cage free eggs, Romanian brandy called Ţuică and home made wine.

We have always enjoyed life at the country side and getting away from the traffic and noise. Enjoying a good book and quality food were the two extra reasons why we built our river cottage. We are glad to host people of different nationalities, to tell them about Romania and cook something special for them. I am passionate about medicine and herbs for tea, that's why I collect them at the cottage. Liviu, my husband and compass, is the family gardener. Our favorite person in the whole world is our nephew Josua.
