Bull Cottage is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty just off the Laurie Lee walkway and only one mile from the Cotswold Way, it is the perfect base to explore the 5 Valleys of Stroud. Whether you are visiting the famous Stroud Farmers market, taking in a tour of Gloucester Cathedral or soaking up the regency town of Cheltenham, Bull Cottage offers you a home away from home.

The space
The chalet style cottage is light and comfortable providing a welcome retreat at the end of a busy day exploring.

Sleeping arrangements
There is a separate double bedroom which is accessed off the kitchen through the jack n jill bathroom. In the lounge there is a queen sofa bed in the open plan living space and a single mattress on the mezzanine sleeping platform for that older child.
* A travel cot and highchair is available on request.

Sitting Room
The sitting room is well appointed for you to enjoy both the glorious sunsets over the valley and to soak in the ambiance from the wood burning stove that provides the heating for the cottage (there are additional electric heaters available to keep you warm - there is no central heating). A basket of firewood is provided on arrival in the winter months. The smart TV and DVD player means that you can snuggle up and watch a movie at the end of an active day.

Food options
With a fully equipped kitchen you have the necessary amenities from a full size over, ceramic hob and microwave to full self cater. If required there is an option to arrange for a supermarket to deliver groceries for your stay. We are happy to unpack your goodies ready for your arrival (by prior arrangement only)
If cooking is not your thing then there are several restaurants and pubs in the nearby towns of Painswick and Stroud. Or why not treat yourself to a pint and delicious meal at the famous Woolpack Inn in Slad.

The Cotswold Way
With prior arrangement we can offer a catered walk service for the Cotswold Way where we collect you from an agreed section along the walk and bring you back to Bull Cottage for a delicious home cooked meal, then we can take you back to your finish point the next day so you can carry on walking. We can also collect your bags and deliver them to your next accommodation. This service works best for the stretch between Birdlip and Kings Stanley. Additional costs apply.

My husband and I live next door to the Cottage. We can be available to answer any questions. However if you want complete privacy then just let us know and we can arrange for you to collect your key from a drop box and we will leave you to enjoy your time away.
