The Hutton House is a private, pleasantly secluded, fenced, oceanfront home on Oak Ridge Key on the southeast end of Roatan. The house is WATER ACCESS only by water taxi or boat which takes 5 mins. This charming 3 bedroom home is perfect for a quiet and relaxing break with friends and family.

The space
This traditional, island style home is ideal for those looking for peace and quiet and is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the laid back and less touristy east end of Roatan . The outdoor porch and patio offer breathtaking vistas of the sea and reef. Looking off in the distance, you can often see the mountains of mainland Honduras. The deck is the perfect place to enjoy the island sunrises with your morning coffee, escape with a book in the afternoon and welcome the evening with your favorite ice-cold beverages. The sea is literally at your doorstep with access to a natural tidal pool just 3 steps off sea wall.

Greetings from Roatan! While I moved to Roatan permanently in 2010, I've been visiting the island since 1973 and my uncle is in the history books as being the first modern expat from North America to settle on the island in the early 50's. So needless to say our family connection to the island is old and deep. It's a beautiful place I am blessed to call home and I am happy to help visitors experience all that Roatan offers. During your stay

Upon your arrival, we can be available to greet you at the airport and escort you to the house. If you would like to stop at one of the larger grocery stores en route, we would be happy to arrange this as well. We can help coordinate your island activities such as island tours, fishing charters, zip-lining and more! We are available to help with all of your needs to make your stay the best it can be! The home is also lovingly managed by Victor and Marta, our two caretakers who live in a small apartment in the lower level of the house. For an extra fee Marta can prepare wonderful island style meals and provide laundry services.
