I'm in the best place of Santa Teresa - the Largo dos Guimarães!
I'm small and simple, just a bedroom, a kitchen where I keep a cold beer for you, coffee, tea, some chocolates (love...), bathroom with warm water, a balcony that you can to extend two hammocks and relax, and a backyard where you can see the birds and miquinhos walking in my trees (they love blueberries!). Right next to me, there is a small store that has a great breakfast and açai ;-)

The space
Stay in a garden all for you close to the main spot of the neighboorhood! This is an old house, with three floors, which was divided into three independent units, one by floor.
The house in the garden is on the ground floor. It is named after the outdoor area comprised, with benches and plants. It consists, as well, in one bedroom, one kitchen, one bathroom, all to yourself. In addition, there is a terrace integrated with the yard.
In the bedroom there is a double bed, a small couch and a wardrobe.
The acess for the kitchen and the bathroom is to outside area.
The unit has a open air space for parking, and the access is by an automated gate.
The bathroom is accessible.
The bedroom is simple and small, as you can see in the pictures, there are 2 hammocks in the terrace and the air condicioner and wi-fi are good.

Where you’ll be

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Santa Teresa is a historic district, the only one with trams still running in Brazil, and at the same time strategic, because is very close to the downtown and the South Zone of the city, a great option for those who come to Rio. It is near the center town, with 3 bus lines, beyond the tram, Lapa, Glória, 15 minutes to the van in Largo do Machado that up the Christ, 20 minutes to sugar loaf, 20 minutes to Copacabana beach.
It is famous for its winding streets with old houses, museums, wonderful views of the city, and many interesting restaurants and bars.
Great places to visit are: the Parque das Ruínas, the Museu da Chácara do Céu and the Selaron stairs. They are all in the same direction and close to each other. They are located about 15 minutes from the house by walking.
In the other direction you will find the House-Museum of Benjamin Constant and the Centro Cultural Laurinda Santos Lobo. They are not as amazing as the other places just mentioned, but they are a nice destination for a small trip after or before lunch, for example. From the house, it takes a 7 minute walk to get there.
And don't forget to ride the tram through the arches of Lapa, it is an awesome trip!

There is a map in the refrigerator's door, and you can use it to locate yourself.
For breakfast or a snac, there is a little shop close to the house, which has an organic cheese bread and a very good açai, among other things. It is named Cultivar. The Bar do Mineiro, at Paschoal Carlos Magno street, next to the Church, has a famous feijoada.
