The history of the family villa, Villa Turchi, is fascinating and for me, full of good memories. My family in the late 1960s, punctually left Milan to spend the summer at Villa Turchi, grandmother's home. The historic residence, for us boys, was a continuous discovery, with its secret passages, the stables of horses that concealed, in addition to a mountain of junk, also ancient finds of the court of Austria that grandmother had brought with her.

The space
The villa, completely restored in 1971, has retained its original charm thanks to the constraints imposed by the Fine Arts. Surrounded by high walls, the Villa houses a large tree-lined garden, with a relaxation area, a reading area and an outdoor barbecue. Ideal for families or couples who want to spend unique moments, in complete relaxation, in the heart of a medieval village.

The villa has WI FI internet, home entertainment, three common rooms (two with fireplace), study with library of ancient books (books from 1450 to the beginning of last century), ping pong.

Longiano, Emilia-Romagna, Italy

Villa Turchi is an ancient villa owned by the Turks family, built around the middle of the 17th century a few metres from the castle walls of the noble Malatesta family (1,059 AD), in the historic centre of Longiano.

It is accessed through the bridge door (sec. XIII) continuing on the paved road for about thirty metres. The main gate is on your right, surmounted by the masonry arch bearing the family crest. (two half-moons)
