My 18 year old architecturally designed, spacious family home is situated on a rustic, working dairy farm. There are 5 bedrooms available, each listed separate. Can watch milking the cows or watch my horse and donkeys mow the lawn for me. I have an inside dog and cattle dog 3 cats and at the moment 2 hand reared lambs and a fawn

The space
Although there are no marked walking tracks you can safely walk through our paddocks and into our stand of native bush.Arrive early afternoon and watch the cows being milked it or feed an apple to Ralph and Jacko the donkeys and his friend Dude the retired horse. (Milking takes place between 430 and 6 PM August to April-roughly)
Beautiful Ohiwa harbour plus Ohope and Opotiki beaches are not far away if you choose to make a house a base to explore.
Our well-equipped kitchen is available if you want to cook your evening meal or reheat a takeaway. (We just ask that you clear up after yourself)
A perfect remote rural spot. Ideal as a stop on the way to Gisborne (SH2) or to start a trip around the beautiful remote East Coast (SH 35).
The house is 3 km off the main road (SH2) and has panoramic views of the hills sculpted by New Zealand's and glacial past which can be enjoyed from the large north facing deck. An ideal spot for breakfast on a sunny day or perhaps a cup of afternoon tea.
I can offer for $8.50 each a simple breakfast of cereals, toast and spreads with tea or instant coffee. You can also enjoy a glass of fresh farm milk (in season).
