Welcome to Historic Spofford Mills. The neighborhood was Built in the 1900’s as company housing for the nearby Mill and was one of the first planned communities in Wilmington. The old Trolley path ran at the end of Hill street and connected Downtown with Wrightsville Beach with various stops in-between. Now called the Cross City Trail, you can bike to the beach in under 35 minutes (8.5 Miles) following the same route or bike to Historic Downtown in 15 mins. A short drive or bike to Grocery stores (Whole Foods, Harris Teeter, Food Lion) Dining, Shopping, Gyms, Churches, and Golf...the best location to explore Wilmington!

I am local Real Estate Broker, which provides you with a host who has unique insight to local sights and sounds. I have lived in Wilmington for over 10 years and decided to make "ILM" my home after I graduated from UNCW. I really enjoy traveling and spent 8 months backpacking through Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Fiji. I took away from that experience the best attributes of a great host. My favorite hosts were the ones who shared with me the local spots and places to visit off the beaten path, I plan to replicate that with my guests. I look forward to meeting you!

During your stay

I have lived in Wilmington for 10 years and currently work as a real estate broker, so I am very knowledgeable of the area. I live in the main house and work from home most days. You can interact with me as much or as little as you want. You have the option of using both the private entrance to the apt or the entrance that faces my the main house, up to you. My goal is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
