Welcome to our home! A spacious house in Pandai Sikek, we are located about 15 minutes away from Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. We’re nestled in between Mount Singgalang and Mount Marapi, with a cool climate and stunning greenery views.

In this listing, we’re putting up a single room fit for 4 people, including a queen sized bed and a queen sized mattress.

The space
The room is fully-equipped with a full-sized closet, spare mattresses, towels and includes access to a separate bathroom for guests.

Our house has been passed down from generation to generation. We’re locals who grew up in the area, and we like so many things about the place! Lush greenery and panoramic views of the crop fields and the mountains are just some of the things we love to wake up to every day.

Where you’ll be

A real, local and rural Pandai Sikek neighbourhood where many of the neighbours are farmers. Many amenities such as eateries and laundry services are nearby, where the nearest culinary area is only a 10-minute walk away. The main road leads you up Mt Singgalang, with plenty of more houses and shops further up. Padi fields, chilli, potato and corn fields are common.

Bukittinggi, one of the biggest cities in West Sumatra, is only a 15-minute drive away. Bukittinggi offers a wide range of shops from small outlets selling local embroidery and crafts to shopping centres selling hip jeans and hoodies. Local eateries or fast food restaurants are available here. Bukittinggi is also known for its main attraction, the Jam Gadang.
