Where you’ll be

Diestelow, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany

The house is located in the village of Unterbrüz, a place consisting of seven houses with a total of eleven inhabitants. There is little traffic on the only road in the town. The town is characterized by the 800 year old Unterbrüzer church. In addition to our rectory, the former school building and a historic "widow's house" are still preserved.
The property belonging to the house, one hectare (10.000 sqm) large plot with natural pond and orchard offers a lot of space for children to play and romp. Within walking distance (500m) is Lake Diestelow with a bathing area. On the nearby Müritz-Elde-Wasserstrasse as well as on the Plauer See (20 km) there are various water sports possibilities (canoeing, stand-up paddling, sailing, motor boating, kitesurfing). For nature lovers, a trip to the Langenhägener Seewiesen is worthwhile, where thousands of migratory birds stop every autumn and spring. Cultural attractions can be found in the Barlachstadt Güstrow, in Wismar and Schwerin (about 30 - 60 minutes by car). The Baltic Sea coast can be reached in about an hour's drive. Shopping in Goldberg (5km).
