One of the first things guests want to know about a place is how many people can comfortably stay in it. By specifying the number of beds, bedrooms, and bathrooms available, you can help them decide whether your space will work for them.

You’ll be able to go into even greater detail after you publish your listing, including specifying what sizes and types of beds you provide, as well as whether you provide bedding.

For now, consider these tips as you do your mental calculating:

    • Determine the number of beds you have and how many people can comfortably sleep in each one.
    • If you’d like to offer couches, futons, or air mattresses for guests to sleep on, be sure to mention them in your listing description so there are no surprises.
    • Just because your place can sleep a certain number of people doesn’t mean you have to accommodate that many guests. You get to decide your guest maximum, even if your place can technically sleep more.

And remember, you can make changes to your listing at any time.
