Guests can park in the road along The Parade which is free on a first come first service basis and is a short walk from the property. Mousehole has several car parks, however please note that the one closest to the property only accept coins so guests are advised to bring change with as there are no cash points nearby. If change is needed on arrival, the car park attendant at the South Harbour Car Park can offer change. The car parks closer to the town entrance tend to have higher charges so we suggest parking in the facility closest to the property. Additional parking information: Two Harbour Authority car parks at North or South Quay are available. For more information about North and South Quay car parks from the Harbour Authority’s website, please click here The Parade Car Park on the outskirts of the village is a privately owned facility so prices are subject to change however current charges (as of 2021) are £9.00 for an overnight stay. Please note that parking here is strictly monitored and even slight overstays are heavily fined. Please bear in mind that on-street parking is scarce as the village’s streets are very narrow. At very busy times when these car parks are full, the village of Paul which is located up a steep hill at the top of Mousehole Lane is an option however the walk up is strenuous. There are spaces to come together in like the large open plan lounge with its sinkable sofa and wood-burner, and places to retreat to in the form of three stunning bedrooms and a bijou roof top terrace; all sublimely decorated and furnished. A fully equipped contemporary kitchen makes whipping up feasts a cinch, with a rustic dining table and seating being the perfect place to share meals and conversation. Unspoilt and within easy reach of some of the tip of western Cornwall’s best landmarks and beaches, Mousehole has a lot to offer. There are award winning restaurants and scenic coastal paths as well a variety of independent shops and galleries to peruse. The iconic tidal island of St Michael’s Mount is within a short distance, as is Porthcurno Beach, the Minnack Theatre and St Ives.
