Located in Oamaru, this beautifully restored, cosy and warm Cabin is the perfect place to base yourself at while you explore the Otago region. Bookbinder's Retreat is small self-contained studio, situated adjacent to the main house. Whilst in the town, the property has a rural outlook over the Public Gardens, and a secluded feel. I have enjoyed creating the space on a small budget over a long time. Travellers seem to appreciate the craftsman like quirkiness of the space which reflects the town.

Semi detached villa. Within walking distance from town. 15mins walk or 3mins drive to Scotts Bar and Restaurants. Lovely older house. Kept in the older style of furnishings but comfortable and warm. There is a play ground which is at the school a couple of hundred yards away. Also a German Café and Vegan Cafe across the road. A free standing fire and heat pump for warmth. The whole house is yours 3 Bedrooms, open lounge, dinning room and Kitchen. Coffee and tea are provided.

There are books and games for your use. We live in a repurposed sheep shearing shed nearby and both buildings are surrounded by extensive gardens and plantings. There are panoramic views of the very picturesque coast line and out to sea. It is very peaceful and private.
