You can enjoy hiking and biking here. The Meulenwald is a continuous forest area of the South Eifel and extends to the Trier, the oldest city in Germany with many Roman relics, which is about 40 km away. The Maare of the Volcano Eiffel are also only about 40 km away and are a worthwhile destination for a day trip.

Trier can be reached in about 20 minutes and in the other direction you can walk along Mosel villages in the direction of Koblenz. The area can be explored hiking or hop on a bike right at your doorstep into the Salmtal - bike path. There is a lot to explore, we look forward to seeing you!
