Enter through a private doorway to this beautifully renovated historic shotgun home in the Marigny neighborhood of New Orleans. Admire exposed brick, a stunning chandelier, and understated decor. Relax in the private outdoor area with bistro table. Located one block from the French Quarter and a few blocks from Frenchman Street, this apartment is walking distance to New Orleans main attractions and is also a block from the streetcar line. Early check in/late check out is free whenever available. I am happy to arrange bag storage if possible. Parking pass available with fully refundable deposit You'll be in half of a shotgun double located in the Marigny neighborhood of New Orleans. I live on the other side, but you will have full access and privacy for your side of the house. The house has a washer and dryer, wifi, cable tv, a coffee maker. The neighborhood is one of New Orleans oldest, most historic neighborhoods. You're one block from the Quarter and walkable to the Quarter, Marigny, Bywater, and downtown. The neighborhood is surrounded by restaurants and entertainment districts. The house was recently fully renovated in October 2017, so you'll have the historic features of an old home with modern amenities. You'll have full, private access to your side of the house. I'll be next door, and will be available at your request, but otherwise, I will be out of your way. Please feel free to ask any questions or tips for traveling around. I'm happy to meet my guests and point them in the right direction! The Marigny is one of New Orleans oldest neighborhoods. It's walking distance to restaurants, bars, and tourist destinations. Here, people live and work. It's one block from the Quarter and next to nearly every notable spot. You're in a super central neighborhood where you can take any form of transportation. The most important things I can ask are the following: 1. Treat my home the way you would treat yours. 2. Treat my neighbors the way you want to be treated.

We DO NOT host to children under 12 years old. Classic New Orleans apartment with character and charm located off the street in a lovely 1890's double shotgun. Stylishly furnished with many original architectural details - 13 foot ceilings, original hardwood floors and mantles, clawfoot tub with shower, and private, landscaped courtyard. Stylishly furnished - the living room sports a 52 inch t.v. + Amazon Fire Stick - the bedroom has a Tempurpedic king size mattress - the fully equipped kitchen has a residential size fridge and stove with seating for four. The private courtyard is located right off of the kitchen with a Weber charcoal grill and seating for four as well. Central heat and air, dishwasher, wifi, Keurig coffee maker, iron/ironing board and blow dryer. This apartment, as well as the courtyard, is private. You have your own gated entrance. It is not a shared space. We live on the property so if there is something you need, we can quickly respond and assist you. The home is in the historic, offbeat Marigny district, known for its bistros, bars, and music venues, adored by locals as well as vacationers. Walk to the French Quarter, Bywater, and Frenchman Street. Public transport and bike rental are close by. Located steps away from the St Claude bus line and a 8 minute walk to the St Claude streetcar line, both can take you to every part of the city. Walk or bike to Frenchman St and the French Quarter.
