Velvet Cottage is a traditional Welsh cottage set in it's own grounds above a country lane backed by National Trust owned Velvet Hill. It is suitable for couples, groups of friends and families, but possibly not elderly persons. The cottage is pet friendly with a fully enclosed wildlife friendly garden. A wide variety of outdoor pursuits are available, including some of the best walking in the UK, right from the doorstep. Off road parking for one medium sized vehicle is provided free of charge.

Less than 5 mins walk from the steam train station, pub, canal, and river. 1 mile from the centre of Llangollen which has many more pubs, restaurants, and activities. Being in the area of outstanding natural beauty there are walks on the doorstep, but we're also only 45 minutes from Snowdonia National Park. The barn is not a big space, but is perfect for a getaway for two people.

Established in 2014, Jasmine Cottage is suitable for families and groups of friends. However it may not be suitable for young children due to regulatory fire escape windows in the upstairs bedrooms. Sorry, no pets allowed thank you.
