Buenos Aires for curious people
:: Please, check the language options by date before booking :: Discover Buenos Aires from an anthropological point of view. Don't expect to just walk and listen: be prepared to talk, make questions and discuss about the past, present and future of the Argentinean capital. Beginning in Lezama Park and ending in Casa Rosada, this walk offers you the chance to approach this beautiful city from its historical past in an attempt to understand its current present. Who were the first inhabitants? Why were the British so interested in this shores? Where is the African-descendant population? Where did all these white people come from? What is the deal with Evita and Perón? Who were the "desaparecidos" during the military dictatorship? And why do we have such a big problem with the US dollar? These are just some of the many questions we will try to answer in our walk through the most historical part of town.
Experience an Argentine Soccer Game
Argentine Football is great for its chaos and unpredictability - with my help you can enjoy the mayhem with none of the hassle. Fixture lists & schedules are announced late, I follow the local football news closely and can pick the best game available each weekend. We'll meet at a central location (per team) & travel the easiest, safest route to the game with the fans (BA is huge!). I'll give you context on the team's history and their current situation and which players to watch. I’ll help you navigate the various Police & Stewarding controls and find the best point of entry as many access points are closed. Inside we'll be close to the action, a perfect view of the game, and as importantly, the Ultra fan groups. The Barra Brava are illicit organised fan groups and a key to the occasion - we'll see them from a safe distance providing the noise & colour. Argentine grounds are quite old and ill-maintained, while this is great aesthetically, it means they don’t have the best health & safety measures and a disappointed crowd can be impatient - again, I’ll be with you to ensure there is no trouble leaving the ground. Other things to note: You'll be safe but follow the guide's advice. The match will depend on ticket availability and this can affect prices. Photo ID may be required in advance We may not need transport - so less waiting! Tickets, Food, Beer included!
Live the passion of soccer
We will meet in Palermo or San Telmo, according to each match. From there we will go in my car to the stadium while I will tell you the story and particularities of the teams that play. We will know the surroundings of the court, we will share experiences with the fans of the club in the surroundings of the site. If it is of your interest we can visit a gallery or store where they sell clothing of the local club. Then, we will attend the football game. In addition to watching the sports show, we will live the true passion of the people in each of the matches. Truly the event will become something magical. We will see the madness of the fans in the front row and share the adrenaline and happiness with them. It will be an experience full of heat, music and color that every football lover must experience to fall in love with the passion of Argentine soccer. At the end I will take you back to the meeting point. Other things to note You cannot leave Argentina without living football in this country. Much passion, joy and adrenaline like nowhere else in the world

Its the perfect route for those who are more travelers than tourists. Barracas is the neighborhood of aristocratic mansions, abandoned factories, design studios, recovered industries, collective worker housing, graffiti murals, bodegones and centennial bars, railroads, Jews from Syria. Local cooking with BsAs Mio
Hi, I'm Laly from @bsasmio turismo, a tour guide specializing in the city of Buenos Aires, and I look forward to getting to know the typical Porteño culture, customs and meals together. The Secrets of La Boca Social History
We will visit the non-tourist sector of the most colorful neighborhood of Buenos Aires: La Boca. We will talk about its people, art, Immigration, anarchism, tango, football, community life, history and customs. We’ll visit the harbour, warehouses and its picturesque train station where large numbers of immigrants arrive. We’ll get inside a corrugated metal clad “conventillo” (tenement houses) that used to provide shelter to immigrants and today hosts a Cultural Centre. We’ll visit one of the many Mutual Assistance Associations: the Volunteer Fire Department. We’ll also get a grasp of the art of Boca through its large murals reflecting different social issues. We’ll observe some old buildings that hosted anarchist newspapers and bordellos in the early 20th century and two local icons of football and Christianity, which worked as refuges for these rootless communities, Boca Juniors Stadium and The Salesian Church. We’ll visit Caminito to find Tango and Fileteado in every corner. Other things to note Please arrange your own transport to La Boca. At the end of the tour you may choose to stay in La Boca or return with me to May Square. We don’t recommend carrying anything valuable, however, having some cash at hand might be a good idea.

Tired of the traditional tours listed in the main tourist guides? Me too. Therefore, I offer you to explore the neighborhood with the greatest identity in the city, focusing on its people and its history. Also, you will have the possibility of eating traditional food (we make a stop at one of the typical bakeries in the neighborhood). In conclusion, the aim of this tour is to provide you with tools so that you can understand the reality of La Boca from its port and immigrant origins to the gentrification process of today. The visit includes: -View of the Riachuelo and Ferry Bridge (our "lady liberty statue"), where the old port was located. -Entrance to historic tenement house -Complete walking in Caminito, appreciating the art pieces exposed there -Visit to a bakery with the possibility of consuming traditional pastries (you will love it!) -Walking by some local streets and seeing the real life of La Boca -Final stop at the Boca Juniors stadium (with the possibility of entry after the tour) Other things to note Bring comfortable clothes and water
Boca Juniors real experience - Futbol/Soccer match
We will meet at Lezama Park and get together to La Boca neighborhood, where we will attend a match. Argentinians when we go to watch a match, we don´t go directly to the stadium, we joins with friends to prepare for the match, eating a chori or empanada, drinking fernet or a beer. This is what we will do! You will feel so local that you´ll start cheering in spanish!! You will get to know a house of a neighbor of La Boca, who hosts the prematch gathering of every match day. There you can take photos with boca cups, shirts and flags. Here we will try some classics of the pre match: Chori or Empanada and Fernet. Afterwards we will walk to the stadium which is really nearby and watch a match of Boca Juniors at the Supporters sections (Popular Sur) located behind one of the goals and this is where the die-hard soccer fans love to watch the game. The Supporters sections at soccer games are unlike any other place in the stadium. We are gonna be stand and cheer for the duration of the game, and fans typically wave banners and flags showing their support for the home club. If you want the real thing, welcome to our experience! (If you want a seat there are other sectors available, just ask!)
The plan is to go to see a Boca game in the mythical Bombonera, in the stalls and from row 1. We meet a few hours before the match, we'll take a small tour of the traditional neighborhood of La Boca, eat a choripan and then we'll enter to the stadium. We'll watch the game and return to the hotel when finish.
