What you'll do

Discover one of Paris' oldest, most fascinating and vibrant markets: The Marché d'Aligre. We'll venture out and buy food "à la parisienne." like our friends Emily and Gabriel (Netflix' Emily in Paris) did when they visited us earlier this year :D

We'll have choices on at least 7 tastings on our visit: sweet (award-winning bakeries!) or salty, we'll be sure to delight your tastebuds! you'll get a cup of the most delicious and fresh coffee in the East of the city!

Follow us as we discover all kinds of flavors in the food stalls and as well as at iconic local food shops nearby, owned by the friendliest people in Paris.

Kids of all ages are welcome! They love all our tastings. Our group will be of maximum of 6 people, if you have a bigger group please send me a direct message :D

We'll visit the open market that is in full swing and super busy! we will also visit the covered market at the Aligre. Don't hesitate to ask me about the behind the scenes of the Emily in Paris' Season 2 filming ;)

Other things to note:
I am sorry but I CAN'T adapt to vegetarian/vegan/gluten-dairy free.

Bring your empty stomach and a bottle of water.

This tour far exceeded our expectations. Seeing Paris with a local was invaluable. We have spent 7 days in Paris with 6 more to go and it will be the highlight of our trip.

Silvia was a fantastic hostess and went out of her way to ensure that guests were accommodated and felt comfortable. It felt very much like an “off the beaten path” tour, hitting the most quintessential Parisian foods but without any hint of touristy-ness. Would do it many times over!

What a wonderful experience with Silvia! We live in Paris and had two good friends visiting. All four of us are bonafide foodies. 😂 And in truth - we could not have been more satisfied than on this tour. Silvia is proud of her beautiful neighborhood and it SHOWS through her expertise on the area, her finding unique and INCREDIBLE gems to sample - from pain au chocolat to great coffee to wonderful cheeses - and her awesome charm. She really turned a rainy day into sunshine. If you love food and you find yourself in beautiful Paris, don’t think twice when considering which tour to take. Merci encore Silvia!

I loved this tour SO much! Silvia was an incredible host and she knows everyone in town making this experience super special. We met business owners and you can tell she is super knowledgeable. I also loved her sense of humor. We had a great time and actually bonded with all the people in the group. I HIGHLY recommend this experience!

I am glad I could change my itinerary to go on this food tour. Silvia made the experience very personable, it's like hanging out with a friend. She knows the places well and are friends with the shop owners. She introduced us to the people in the shops and stores and the whole experience is like visiting the local markets and shops with a local. She is very passionate about the places she brought us to and the food is amazing. I didn't like meringue and pate but the ones she brought us completely changed my opinion. The meringue and pâte that we tried were honestly the best. I was lucky that the group I was with are all chatty and nice people from different parts of the world. I had a great time with Silvia and the group. I would highly recommend this tour as not only will you be trying amazing food, you'll have a great time interacting with the local community.
