We are a family restaurant, and our dream has always been to make known the true gastronomy of Cartagena in the most genuine way. We are a family that we like to know our clients and their cultures, and this has allowed us to make great friendships with people from all over the world. and what to say about our chefs, Nelsi and Cesar with more than 15 years as a chef, and Laura and Jose hers assistants have worked together since the restaurant was founded. they love to show their passion, they like to laugh and make people laugh like nobody else.

We will be in the kitchen of our family restaurant, which meant a lot to us. in the historic center of Cartagena, a kitchen with music, air conditioning, and we have decorated with photos of all the people who have visited us as a way to remember our friends all over the world. In this kitchen, not only is cooking, we also dance once when (our chefs also know how to dance a lot!)

This was absolutely the best! We loved meeting the hosts and new friends! Everything was very well planned and methodical. The class was small enough to feel like we were safe and large enough for some diversity! The food was really wonderful. It was great getting a real look at how authentic Colombian food is prepared- all the touristy spots we at attempted to eat at had ZERO flavor and this food was bursting with it! The hosts were gracious, personable and super fun! We loved it and can’t say enough great things about it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ highly recommended

This was a wonderful experience! The class started a little later than planned be because the air conditioning have to be fixed, but there was good communication around the change in time and we were all grateful that the AC was working by the time we started cooking. Upon arrival we were able to order drinks (for an extra, but reasonable charge). When we moved to the kitchen, our workstations were already set up. The main chef did not speak much English, but the sous-chef could translate easily. The instructions were clear and the experience was definitely hands on (which was what we hoped for). We learned how to make traditional coconut rice, patacones (fried plantains) with a secret sauce, steamed fish (very fresh) and Guarapo Costeño (Colombian Sugar Cane And Lime Drink). After cooking, we ate the delicious food. Another reviewer wrote that the food was shared between the participants, but that's not the case. Everyone ate their own meal. There was an opportunity at dinner to order additional drinks as well. We met some great people in the group and overall had a really fantastic experience.

The class was great! I just marked it 3 stars because I paid for it twice, and haven't gotten a refund (apparently Airbnb is slow to refund?). The first class was canceled due to a city water issue, so we booked again on later date. When we did the class, it was fun and delicious too!
