As a seventh generation native of Madison County, NC I have had the opportunity to grow up in an area full of mountain tradition. I have always had an interest in things of times past and have grown a passion for the art of blacksmithing. I am proud to be raising my family on a small homestead farm in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains.
I enjoy sharing the traditions of our mountains. I have had the opportunity to share the art of blacksmithing with many vacationing guests, family and friends over the years. I hope to have the opportunity to share my love of forging with you.

We had an absolutely amazing time. The location was awesome, the host was even better. Really made it personalized and was pretty educational too. We will definitely be back.

This was our first forging experience, and it was so unique and fun! We also love being able to support other locals! From the moment we arrived on the farm, Jeremy warmly greeted us and showed wonderful hospitality. Every aspect of our experience had a personalized touch, from the tour of the farm and getting to know his family through the stories he shared, to the actual forging adventure itself. He was right there guiding us as needed, and also allowing us the freedom to make our chosen piece. To walk away with something cool that we handmade ourselves (and can actually use!) was such a fun accomplishment! We highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future!

Wow, this experience really delivers! Jeremy & Haley were just super. Haley responded quickly and helped us when something came up at home where we had to reschedule. Jeremy is an exceptional teacher! (This is coming from two teachers ourselves) His directions were clear, he constantly checked in on all of his guests even though the forge was pretty full. The children were so very courteous, and you could tell they were thriving! We had so much fun, we plan to bring our brother next time. By the way, Jeremy's throne was pretty sick!

Just wow! This was our second time with Jeremy but definitely will not be our last. It had been a year since we had done it last but he still remembered us and he showed/explained some different things he has done within the past year to better the experience for his guests! He has so much knowledge and is willing to share it with us and lets you work at your own pace and will step in the show you how to improve without fully taking over your project. He has a very calm teaching style and doesn't make you feel silly for asking questions. An added perk to this experience is the animals on property! Cats, dogs, cows, chickens and sheep, so cute!
