Hidden Boathouse
San Francisco
Located in the heart of SF's famous Golden Gate Park, there’s a lovely boathouse known mostly to locals. Every Friday we transform this space into a non-conventional intimate music venue. Nearby you can start off your evening by visiting the best Gold Gate Park has to offer. Our top favorites are the De Young Museum, the Japanese Garden, Academy of Science, and of course a cruise around the Stow Lake on a paddleboat, perfect for a date!

Super intimate and enjoyable experience! Loved the pieces where local high school musicians joined with the band! Most people (if not all) were very careful about masks and kept it on through the night. Note: We didn’t get to enter and pick seats until it was 7:30pm or so. Arriving early didn’t do too much, but arriving late would make it hard to find good seats. Also, bring a seat cushion if you are easily uncomfortable. The chairs were not the best to sit on.

Oh man there are no words that can describe how beautiful my evening was. Doors opened a bit early to allow us to grab sits, drinks, & use the restroom. Our hostess, bartender, & the band was over phenomenal. The location is magical, late night sky & peaceful lake (sigh) perfection. The whole environment is intimate, relaxing, & meaningful. I highly recommend this experience.

LOVED the Afro Cuban Jazz we heard! The musicians were excellent and the venue is really cute and intimate. Am glad they were diligent about checking vaccine cards and ID at the entry. On the down side the seating is a bit snug (maybe bring a seat cushion for comfort?) and not that many people wore masks--or rather took off their masks for eating and drinking and then left them off the rest of the evening. If you are worried about covid I suggest wearing an N95 and eating before the performance.

Really enjoyed the band and the music! It was intimate and delightful, and the musicians interacted directly with us in the audience and we all got to know each other a bit. Loved it, would totally go again!
