We pride ourselves on our small herd of Huacaya alpacas. Intentionally keeping our herd small allows us work with our animals by using a hands-on approach that is especially essential with our young stock. At Plum Creek Alpacas, we focus on raising and breeding an elite herd of colored Alpacas with outstanding bloodlines to produce champions with exquisite fibers.

I knew I wanted Alpacas in my life before I visited Plum Creek. I left the tour without a doubt in my mind that I would explore this venture even more. My head was swirling with information and I could not have asked for a better experience. Brian was so knowledgeable and absolutely amazing! Thank you for sharing and giving me the opportunity to learn so much. Getting an Alpaca kiss was by far the highlight of my entire AZ trip! I highly recommend this experience to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Great tour and great people. Brian and all the staff at the ranch were nice and welcoming. Great wealth of knowledge and the wonderful chance to feed and pet some alpacas.

Very educational! We learned so much about these amazing creatures. Brian was very patient with my husband’s many questions and gave us a very clear, broad understanding of the world of Alpacas. He taught us everything from diet, to fur ratings, to reproduction, and value. Very comprehensive.

This tour was great. Very hands on, plenty of interesting info, giant friendly dogs. And it kept my teenagers interested and off their phones for an entire hour. It was a great value as well

Nothing can prepare you for the cuteness of alpacas 🦙 (note: but they do spit, as I discovered first hand). What a fun tour getting to know these magical animals and having the opportunity to feed and pet them!
