What you'll do

I'll show you the Louvre in a light you may have never imagined. Being an art historian and stand-up comic, I’ll have you cracking up in front of the Mona Lisa and giggling in front of Greek relics at a walking pace. You’ll learn art history and some Greek and Latin words to impress your friends.
Adults and young adults. 6 guests only.
Other things to note
Once you booked your experience, make sure you get your entrance ticket for the time of the experience and print it or download it on your phone (an extra screenshot is always a good idea, even with a print) Museum pass with a time slot also work.
After the exp, you always have time to wonder around

I’ve been a professional tour guide for 15 years, at night I’ve been going on stage for the past 8 years doing Stand-up comedy in clubs from Asia to Europe.
4 years ago, I've decided to mix my two passions, Art History and Humour and it became Laugh your way through the Louvre and Laugh your way through Musée d'Orsay.

Cedrik was a delight and he made our time at the Louvre that much more magical. ✨🥰 I’ve toured many museums, including the Louvre, but his expert POV from studying art history, paired with his jokes made it engaging and fun. Thank you for being warm and welcoming Cedrik! Would recommend this to anyone, even those who have toured this museum!

Ok. So this is my attempt to leave an objective review all the while hoping it will be the very best that Cedrik dude has ever received… I’ll start by talking to you. You, the AirBnb reader who has booked a trip to Paris, and is wondering how to make that trip extra special and super French. Look no further. Cedrik IS extra special, and he couldn’t be more French (and I say that because I, too, am French. Even though I didn’t know Cedrik prior to this experience.). Not only Cedrik is special, in a French hipster, highly educated, artsy, and super loveable way… but he is extremely approachable. By that I mean that our group of 6 included all ages from 8 to 77, and he spectacularly appealed to all with raving reviews. Cedrik claims to be the most inappropriate guide to have ever walked in Le Louvre and I can see how that can be true. However, he does so in a very jovial, comfortable, and irresistible way that appealed to my 8 year old daughter and my elderly mother alike. He made us laugh. But also educated us on obscure techniques, surprising history facts, and also we learned why antique Greek/Roman male canons of beauty always involved small penises. Again, he skillfully did so in a way that my 8 year old daughter, my 2 teenagers, my wife, and my 77 year old mother found hilarious and somewhat appropriate. The other thing is that Cedric’s personality is infectious. You suddenly found yourself eager to learn about art history, Greek mythology, renaissance painting techniques and what not. I also want to point out, that something random and unexpected happened to us that could have ruined our visit to Le Louvre on our last day in Paris. If it wasn’t for Cedrik’s eagerness to quickly and altruistically adapt (plus some very French “system D” - Google that), we would not have been able to enter the museum. So we owe him more than an hilarious visit. To conclude… Cedrik is a character. Funny, intelligent, educated and incredibly passionate. He will make you laugh and teach you amazing things that you can take home and build on. Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT pass on this experience. Unless of course the idea of talking about Greek penises offend you. But then again, if it does, you shouldn’t even enter the museum at all.

Our tour with Cedrik was fantastic! We’re in Paris for a few days and wanted to do a tour of the Louvre, however, we didn’t know where to begin! Cedrik breaks down the museum and threads together the art work in a digestible two hour period of time. Highly recommend him!

Cedrik illuminated all that is noteworthy in the Louvre into a bite size portion. His aura and knowledge of art beyond exceeded our expectations. We laughed and I even cried at the extensive collection. What a dream of a day. Thank you dearly. P.S. His comedic twists on the historical and political stories behind each piece is worth the entire tour.
