Ok let me start by saying that not only was this a wonderful experience but it just may be the very best day we spent in Colombia these past two weeks. Daniel has crafted an experience that is thoughtful, fun, exciting and delicious. From the minute he picked us up until he dropped us of in the evening it felt like we were with a local friend. The information about Bogota and the history of the places along the drive was all new to us. Arriving at the ranch we could tell he loves the place and the horses. We had some delicious local snacks and he showed us around his beautiful ranch house. We met our horses and got a thorough explanation on the temperament of each horse and information on how each horse was to be handled. He gauged our ability and matched us to a horse. These horses are so well taken care of. It made us happy to ride horses that are healthy and beautiful. The ride was so scenic and Daniel related to us all kinds of information and history of the ranch as well as Colombia. After returning to the stables we treated the horses to some chunks of Colombian brown sugar, panela. We then went in and had a super delicious and totally satisfying lunch. Following lunch we relaxed while Daniel made us some excellent Colombian coffee. Once we were sufficiently caffeinated we went outside to play a few rounds of Tejo!!!! It was a blast, literally!!!!!!!! I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone looking for a taste of Colombian ranch life. Daniel has a good thing going on out at the ranch.

If you’ re going to Bogotá, this is the experience you MUST have: what an astonishing, overwhelming and incredible day. Santiago loves his animals, his ranch and his country, and he transmits passion and dedication to what he does. The horses are just amazing, riding them was a total blast, they’re calm and sweet. The landscapes around the finca are exactly what you’re looking for if you came to Colombia. The food is, apart from typical, really delicious, and you also get to learn stories about it. Other than the horses, the ranch is populated by all kinds of lovely animals: cats, dogs, domestic funky chickens, hummingbirds of all colours, turkeys and cows. Buy this experience. Go for it! It’s gonna be your best day in Bogotá. Ciao by Giulia and Leonardo, Santiago sei un GRANDE!!

This was such a wonderful experience! I highly recommend it to anyone that comes to Bogotá. Santiago and his crew were truly amazing and made you feel like part of their family. The ranch and the horses were absolutely beautiful! The food was so good and I learned a lot about Colombia. I will definitely bring my family again the next time we come to Bogotá. Thank you Santiago!

This was my first time visiting Bogota. When I saw the horseback riding activity on Airbnb I knew I had to sign up for it and it was beyond my expectations. “Horseback riding” is an understatement of what this really is! From the time we met at our pickup point which is really easy to find until our drop off this day is full of fun and entertainment. Santi and his mom are so welcoming to their beautiful ranch and made us feel right at home. While experiencing authentic food and there is plenty, we got to interact with many other farm animals. The beautiful horses are very well trained. Santi was very informative and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this adventure and definitely do it again! Christine

Every part of this experience was incredible! I am Colombian (and still learned so much!) but it was my partner’s first visit- this was definitely his favorite part of our trip. Santiago was an excellent host and I will be recommending this to everyone I know!

This is one of the best airbnb experiences I've ever been on. The Colombian countryside is lovely, and the horses are very well trained and receptive to cues (and this is coming from someone with minimal horseback riding experience). I would suggest bringing sunscreen but the host provides water etc. on the ride. The food at the house is lovely, and it really feels like you "see" Colombia. DO THIS.
